Prescriptions

To order repeat medications: -

  • * Use our prescription line.- You can now call and leave your prescription request on our dedicated line.  Please note DO NOT leave any other messages on this line.
  • * Use our online services and order via the link at the top of this page.  You require a login to do this.  Please see reception to obtain your login details.
  • * See your local pharmacy who can order your prescription for you. (this is often quicker than contacting the surgery).
  • *Submit your prescription request into the red box in the reception area before 10am
  • Remember to leave the medication name and current dose you are taking.  If you do not provide this then your prescription may not be processed.

  • Please allow 72hrs for your prescription request to be processed before collecting.   Do not phone to see if your prescription is ready.
  • Go to your chosen pharmacy after 72hrs. The surgery will be enforcing this rule as checking to see if prescriptions are ready is time consuming and is adding pressure on the service. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE YOUR MEDICATION IS ORDERED IN TIME.
  • You may be asked to make an appointment to review your medication; this is in your best interest.
  • If you wish your prescription to be collected from the surgery by one of our local pharmacies, please informs us when requesting your prescription. Please note that ASDA Linwood will only collect your prescription if you have contacted them.
  • If you are planning to go away on holiday and will require your prescription early, please inform reception.
