Dr Cooper and Partners have in place a system where telephone calls made to and from the surgery are recorded.  The calls are recorded and  are held on a dedicated and secure PC. 

The calls can only be accessed by the Practice Manager/Assistant Practice Manager or a GP.  

The calls are only accessed if there is concerns about a call i.e  a complaint, a query is raised about clinical advice given or where threats are received. 

In rare circumstances we made need to share data with other bodies, such as the police in the case of serious threats being made against the practice or its staff.
